The hotel and staff really good. Spacious rooms. Modern decor. Extra seating area. Separate toilet. Great breakfast selection. Helpful staff. Perfect location.

For us, it was ideal.

Great location, close to Christmas market and everything. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Good for friends going out at night.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, which would have been a nice addition for guests.

We loved the hotel's perfect location, just a short walk away from the city centre and close to key sights like the Mirabell Palace. The hotel's proximity to the main train station was also a major advantage for us. The cleanliness of the accommodations was great, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. European style, kind and competent staff, quiet, safe, comfortable. Receptionist provides useful information about attractions and restaurants. Fresh and delicious breakfast with cooked eggs and local ingredients. Great location, walkable distance to Mirabell Palace, impressive soundproofing. Homely feel, tastefully decorated lounge and bar area. Helpful English-speaking receptionists. Quiet location near Mirabell Schloss and gardens, easily walkable to old town. Imlauer Sky bar and restaurant with fantastic views nearby.

We were really surprised by the charm and character of Hotel Markus Sittikus. The old-style decor and use of traditional keys added to the overall experience. The small backyard provided a peaceful spot to relax, and the bar on the main floor was a convenient place to enjoy a drink. The self-service mini bar after 10 pm was a unique touch that allowed us to indulge at our own pace.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they were kind enough to provide us with a fan when the room was too hot. The hotel was conveniently located, with attractions within walking distance.

The room was quite disappointing, it looked nothing like the pictures advertised. The toilet stank of urine, very off-putting.
